‘Let us run with perseverance the race set before us’

Hebrews 12:1

Lincoln Anglican Academy Trust - Diocese of Lincoln Ofsted Good Provider

Our Vision

“Surrounded by such a great crowd of witnesses let us run with perseverance the race God has set before us.” Hebrews 12:1b

A love of learning

It is our belief that all children are created in the image of god, and all children deserve the best educational experience that we can offer to ensure every child can reach their full potential. We want to be able to remember more, know more and learn more, this means children developing their knowledge and skills within our curriculum through carefully planned progression and their own personal interests, but also adults developing their practice, learning from one another and sharing wisdom with the children we are lucky enough to work with. As part of this we are becoming more resourceful, being able to adapt - using what we have available to us - to become successful and ensure that we are continuously present, and persevere.

A love of our environment

We want to instil a love and respect for our environment and all that god has created, both within our immediate community and parish, but also globally. Not only do we care about our environment but we want to ensure we have the knowledge and capabilities to identify, research and understand issues but to help do something about them. We are lucky enough to attend school in a wonderful environment each day, and we want to ensure that we appreciate, respect and maintain that, with all our children becoming global citizens.

Prepared for the future

Our future is ever-changing, for children and adults. Therefore, we see it as essential that we develop into: independent people who can think and act for ourselves, philosophical learners who are able to absorb information and reach educated conclusions, confident humans that can use these characteristics to make a positive difference in their own, and other peoples, lives; ensuring there is hope for the future. All this is underpinned by our core Christian Values, teaching children to express themselves in a caring and respectful manner.
