Welcome to Class 1
Learning from home resource bank
When teaching at school, staff adapt learning to children’s individual needs. These are a bank of resources that can be used at home, however, depending where your child is on their learning journey it may be that they find the resources from another class more beneficial.
All children have access to Mathletics. Tasks will be set regularly by the class teacher, who will then monitor the children’s progress.
In our class we are encouraged to show our personalities and be ourselves! We love learning in our outdoor area and in Forest School. Mrs Robinson always listens to what we love, and sets up fantastic learning around this. We are super proud of our colourful, vibrant and creative classroom, and would love you to come and see us!

Class 1 Learning this week 9 October
A great start
We have had a superb start to the year in Class 1 and are loving the new challenges of being at ‘big school’. Our topic on superheroes is keeping us busy and we are enjoying our role play area where we can phone the superheroes and dress up as superheroes.
We have been recognising and ordering numbers in maths as well as doing lots of counting. We have now covered 16 sounds and Mrs Robinson is most impressed with our phonics work.
We love our forest school with Mrs Roberts every Monday and have been busy exploring the wooded area.
